I'll dominate 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
